Privacy Policy

Last updated July 5, 2026

Signo provides a developer event notification service that lets you receive notifications from your applications on your devices. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Signo, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and the basic profile details needed to authenticate you and keep your account secure.

Device information. When you register a device to receive notifications, we collect a push notification token and basic device details such as device type and operating system, so we can deliver notifications to that device.

Event data. When your applications send events to Signo, we receive the event label, title, message, and any payload you choose to include, along with the associated app identifier and timestamp. You control what your applications send. We recommend not including sensitive personal information in event payloads.

Usage information. We collect basic technical information such as log data, IP address, and diagnostic details to operate, secure, and improve the service.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Authenticate you and keep your account secure
  • Deliver notifications to your registered devices
  • Route events to the correct devices based on the labels you subscribe to
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the service
  • Detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, or technical issues
  • Communicate with you about the service

Push notifications

Signo sends push notifications to the devices you register. Notifications are delivered through platform services such as the Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging. You can turn off notifications at any time in your device settings.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the service, such as cloud hosting and push notification providers, under obligations to protect your data.
  • Authorities or third parties when required to comply with applicable law, regulation, or valid legal process.
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.

Data retention

We retain account and device information for as long as your account is active. Event data is kept for a limited period so we can deliver notifications and provide recent history, after which it is deleted. You can delete your account at any time, which removes your associated data.

Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise these rights through your account settings or by contacting us.

Children's privacy

Signo is intended for developers and is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date above. Your continued use of Signo after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
